In plain English, this means three things:

1. You absolutely must give me attribution (my name and a link to the source post is preferred) when you are directly copying and pasting from my site in any way. Same applies if you are paraphrasing an original thought of mine (like my dissertation topic).

2. You cannot use any material from this blog for commercial purpose.

3. You may not alter my words in any way or build upon my work (as in adding to it and calling it your own).

Simply put, if you do not receive my express written permission, then the above rules apply. If you do receive my express written permission, then I expect you to comply with whatever conditions we agree upon when my permission is granted.

If any of this is unclear, or if you are concerned you may have plagiarized me, please do not hesitate to e-mail me at ahab1blog at gmail dot com. As long as you have given me credit in the past (“A.Hab. talked about this in her blog,” for instance), then you’re in compliance with my copyright. If you simply cross-post something I wrote and fail to mention me…then we’re going to have to have a talk.
